Overview
The SI Tilting is the 215.5 kg SI-475 on hydraulic cylinders that tilt the whole machine, so a heavy load empties by tilting instead of being pulled out by hand. With two-way tilt it also tilts back for loading.
The door opens and closes hydraulically and seals with an air-operated gasket, the drum extracts at 310 G, and the machine can be linked to an automated laundry control system. As on the rest of the SI range, the main bearings sit outside the wash solution and the machine stands on its own suspension, with no special foundation.
