Overview
The DI series is IMAGE's industrial tumble dryer, sized to take the loads from large washer-extractors in commercial, industrial and hospitality laundries. Its stainless steel drum rides on adjustable rollers and is turned by a gear motor, while a separate, directly driven fan moves the drying air. The drum reverses to stop tangling, a soft-start device eases starts and stops, and a microcomputer handles time and temperature, with PC programming, data logging and remote view over the network.
Five sizes run from 113.4 to 220 kg; the DI-325, for example, holds 147.4 kg in a Ø1620 × 1541 mm drum. Standard models load through manual horizontal sliding front doors. Each dryer can be configured for its site: options include one-way or two-way tilting, pass-through versions with front and rear doors, vertical sliding doors, side-mounted steam coils, humidity and PLC control, a variable frequency inverter, air recirculation, a sprinkler system and designs for tunnel washer lines.
