Overview
The AMFOLD-B folds blankets coming off the ironing line. It makes two length folds as standard, or three where specified, then up to three cross folds by knife, with timing-belt drives keeping each fold accurate. The cross-fold section opens for easy access, and the touch screen stores up to 100 folding programs so each type of piece gets its own fold, with settings backed up to USB.
It runs at 25 m/min and takes blankets from 0.9 × 0.9 m up to 3.3 m by the working width on a single lane, plus small pieces from 0.4 × 0.25 m across several lanes. It draws 1.25 to 2 kW and uses compressed air at 6 to 10 bar. The folder can work with several stackers, is shown with an AMSTACK D drop stacker, and is offered with a blanket feeder with spreading clips.
