Overview
The AMFLEX feeds sheets, table linen and draw sheets into a flatwork ironer. Operators place the corners in height-adjustable clips at each station; the clips start automatically, and servo-driven spreading clips, tension-set per program, open the sheet across its width. Brushes and a spreading knife in the suction box stretch it, a speed-adjustable lay-down beam places it on the suction feeding bed, and the feeder keeps its speed in step with the ironer.
Working widths run from 3000 to 3700 mm, or up to 4100 mm as an option, in one-lane or two-lane form, with the machine 4170 to 5070 mm wide. Feeding speed is 8 to 50 m/min, set from a touch screen holding 100 programs, with settings backed up to USB. Options include a stretch conveyor, adjustable vacuum, ironer protection, an inspection light, stain and tear buttons, automatic ironer speed control and a lifting device.
