Overview
The AMFOLD takes sheets, table linen and draw sheets straight from the ironer, makes two length folds and then up to three cross folds, and passes the folded piece to a stacker. Cross folds are timing-belt driven and the cross-fold section opens for easy access. Programs for each linen type are set on a PLC touch screen or called from the feeder, the folder counts pieces per lane and per day, and settings back up to USB.
Three versions are offered. The AMFOLD-E is a compact single-lane folder for up to 1800 pieces an hour, with a 3300 mm working width. The AMFOLD-P adds multi-lane folding with every cross fold made by knife, and the AMFOLD-Q adds cross-fold speeds set per program, oblique sheet detection and double-driven first cross-fold rollers. Options include the AMSCAN camera system and AMSTACK C, D or M stackers.
