Overview
The X-CEN sits directly behind the washer in a tunnel washing line and removes water from each batch by spinning it. The drum unit hangs on springs inside a swivel frame; after extraction the frame tilts the drum opening down at about 45 degrees, compressed air helps release the linen from the inner drum, and it leaves as a loose heap on the unloading conveyor below, which has a 1000 mm belt.
It is a single 60 kg model, with up to 70 kg available as an option, and handles up to nine batches or 540 kg of linen an hour on a five-minute cycle. A three-phase motor under variable-frequency control drives the inner drum by V-belt, giving free control of speed and direction and a lower inrush current. Parts in contact with wash water are stainless steel, and a water pump is optional.
