Overview
The X-DRYER takes pressed batches from a tunnel washing line and dries them in a stainless-steel 304 basket that runs on four adjustable high-temperature wheels, driven through a shaft and gear motor. Air is heated, drawn through the turning basket and sent out to the exhaust by the blower. The controller can link with the line's central control, watches temperature, airflow and the door, and stops the machine if the side-accessible lint screen becomes blocked.
IMAGE offers the X-DRYER for 60, 90, 120 and 180 kg batches, so it can be matched to the washer's batch size; the datasheet details the first three. Basket volume rises from 1850 to 3600 litres and the blower from 11 to 15 kW. Steam models use 320 to 725 kg/h of steam at 5.5–8.6 bar, and thermal oil and gas versions are also built, the gas models weighing slightly less.
