Overview
The IRP series is a single-roll flatwork ironer for medium to large laundries that finish flat linen in volume. Linen is fed at the front, and a forward/reverse switch sends it out at the front or through to the rear, where it can go on to a folder. The chrome-plated roll turns on heavy-duty bearings, Nomex belts resist moisture, and an external blower draws vapour out through the canopy. An inverter sets the speed and a digital controller holds the ironing temperature.
Sizes are set by roll diameter, from 457 mm upwards, all with a 3000 mm working width. A larger roll irons faster: the 457 mm roll runs at up to 14 m/min and the 813 mm roll at up to 30 m/min. Each size can be heated by electricity, steam or gas; electric models draw 36 to 72 kW. Options include a 3300 mm working width, single-phase power, a cold-roll warning lamp, a digital temperature display for steam models and a CE EMI filter.
