Overview
The STF folds and stacks towels in one pass. The first and second length folds are made by reversing the belts, and the single cross fold is combined with stacking, so each towel lands folded on the stack. A PLC with a programmable control panel holds a program for each towel type, settings back up to USB, and the standard machine has a conveyor that returns finished stacks to the operator.
It runs at 35 m/min and handles towels from 0.4 × 0.4 m up to 1.8 × 1.0 m, or up to 2.4 m long as an option, from a 2.5 kW supply. With the Selective 2 or Selective 3 options, different towels are sorted automatically to two or three stackers. Other options include a stop conveyor before cross folding, a collecting and discharge conveyor, a roll-off conveyor for strapping and corners folded inside or outside.
